It’s pretty interesting to watch the women in sex videos end up looking just as good at the end as they did at the beginning, with makeup and hair intact and barely a sweat worked up. A lot of that is probably that they get touched up between takes and can stay really fresh looking. That isn’t how most real people have sex though. An energetic session of sex leaves most people looking like a mess with their hair all over the place, their makeup worn off, sweaty and sticky. They usually look pretty sated, happy and glowing as well though, and don’t much care I their hair is a mess. That is as it should be.

Women’s magazines are full of articles about how to look pretty while having sex. They give tips about what sex positions will make a woman’s boobs look best or her stomach look flattest or her legs look longer and thinner. If a woman has time to be thinking about this stuff during intercourse, somebody probably isn’t doing something right.

Sex isn’t supposed to be pretty and neat. It’s supposed to consume the people involved and take over their senses so that their brains aren’t even working anymore. It should be primal and get people to a place where they just feel. They should be responding to all the sensations that they’re feeling and not worrying about anything else. Even porn stars probably have dirty, messy sex when they’re not on camera and they’re with the person that they love the most. Movies need to look a certain way for the audience they are targeting, but in real life, most movie stars are probably a lot like more normal, everyday people.

The best way to have sex is to dive in head first, get messy, get sweaty and enjoy it so much that nothing else matters. When it’s over, the feeling of bliss should be so strong that nobody cares what anybody looks like and both are too busy basking in the afterglow.
